Seamless Texture Generator for Any Image
Drop a photo and its edges are blended so it repeats with no visible seam. Compare it tiled against the original, see it wrapped on a 3D sphere, and download a PNG. Free, and the image stays on your device.
- Runs in your browser
- Offset blend or mirror
- Before/after tile view
- PNG up to 4096 px

How to make a texture seamless in 3 steps
- 01
Drop an image
PNG, JPG or WebP up to 25 MB, scaled to at most 4,096 px on the long edge. The sandstone sample loads by itself if you just want to see it work. - 02
Check the tiles
The stage repeats the result 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4. Flip Seamless / Original to see the seams it removed, turn on Tile edges to see where copies meet, or open 3D to see it wrapped on a sphere. - 03
Download the PNG
Choose Original, 2K, 1K or 512 and press Download seamless PNG. The file name carries its size, ready for a material slot.

Method
- Range
- Offset & blend / Mirror
- Default and advice
- Offset & blend. Mirror only for patterns that look fine reflected
Blend width
- Range
- 5–80%
- Default and advice
- 35% of the way from each edge to the center. Wider for rock and grass, narrower for regular patterns
Detail-aware blend
- Range
- On / off
- Default and advice
- On. Off gives a plain cross-fade, softer but blurrier
Even out lighting
- Range
- On / off
- Default and advice
- On for photos; off for flat graphics and patterns
Resolution
- Range
- Original, 2K, 1K, 512
- Default and advice
- Original keeps your size up to 4,096 px. Mirror doubles each side

How to make a seamless pattern without a visible seam
An image tiles when its left edge continues into its right edge and its top into its bottom. Shift a photo by half its width and height and those edges meet in the middle, where you can see the seam. This is the classic offset trick from image editors: the edges are now continuous, and the work is hiding the seam in the middle.
The tool does that blend for you, one axis at a time. Doing both axes at once drags the shifted copy's own seam into the corners. With Detail-aware blend on, the brighter feature from either copy takes over inside the band, so the transition follows the texture instead of fading through it.
- Busy, random surfaces hide the blend best
- Large single features (one big rock) repeat visibly
- Strong perspective or a vanishing point can't tile
Tips to make texture seamless and natural
- Start from a straight-on photo in even light
- Use the largest source you have, then download at the size you need
- Look at 4×4 tiles from a distance: repetition shows at scale, not up close
- Make the color seamless first, then generate normal and roughness from it
- Use photos with a strong light gradient and Even out lighting turned off
- Choose Mirror for stone, wood or fabric; the symmetry stands out
- Expect a photo with one dominant feature to repeat unnoticed
- Upscale a small image to 4K; it only gets softer
From seamless texture to full PBR material
A tileable color map is half a material. Bring the PNG to the normal map generator to get height, normal, ambient occlusion and roughness that tile as well, since its filters wrap around the edges of a seamless image. To put a texture on your own model, unwrap it with the UV unwrap tool and check it in the 3D model viewer. For textures generated from a prompt rather than a photo, see the AI texture generator.
The limits of a seamless texture generator, honestly: blending can't invent structure. A wall of identical bricks needs aligned courses, which a blend doesn't create, so regular patterns are better tiled by cropping exactly one repeat. And a seamless tile can still look repetitive; mixing two textures or adding variation in your engine does more than any blend.
